I know there are so many activites happening in December and everyone is very busy, but we had the privilege to assist Grove Park Elementary School this past week during their Awards Ceremony. Rachel is a 2nd grade teacher and enjoyed us being there to volunteer and assist as needed.

What a wonderful time of the year to thank our wonderful volunteers for their service to the Lord and Discover Church. I cannot express how grateful i am for you and what a privilege it is to serve alongside you in ministry.

"So my dear brothers and sister, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for your know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." 1 Corinthians 15:58

What a great time we had at the Beach Baptism and Cookout this past Saturday-if you missed it make sure you attend the next one as we encourage and support the ones that took the faithful step of obedience!

Current Volunteer Opportunities

God created you for a purpose and has equipped you with spiritual gifts to be used to build up the local Church and to encourage others.  As we continue to grow, we have opportunities that will help you grow spiritually, impact the lives of others and also allow you to have some fun!

We currently have opportunities in the following ministries:

      -Discover Kids (small group leader, helpers, events and security) - Visit their Blog

      -Graphic Designer

      -Guest Relations (greeting, parking, creative team, hospitality team, marketing and events) - Visit their Blog

      -Prayer Team      

      -Set up and/or Tear Down

      -Social Networking

      -Worship Team (vocalist, keyboards, technical-soundboard, lighting, computer) -
            Visit their Blog
